WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

HEAR

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God"(Rom 10:17).

BELIEVE

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Heb 11:6). But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1 12-13).

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16) When the Bible speaks of believers being saved, it means obedient believers and not disobedient ones. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common"(Acts 2:44).

"And he brought them out and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. "Now when had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all household" (Acts 16:30-31, 34).

REPENT

I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3:3)." Truly these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, " (Acts 17:30) To repent means to change one's mind and conduct, But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, 'Son, go, work today in my vineyard'. He answered and said, I will but not, afterward he regretted it and went. Then he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go sir, but he did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father? They said to Him, "The first...." (Matt. 21:28-31)

CONFESS

Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven (Matt.10:32) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rom 10:10). One is not to confess that he is taking Jesus Christ as his personal savior, or that God for Christ's sake has pardoned his sins, but that Jesus is the Christ the son of God. Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, (Acts8:37)

BE BAPTISED

Then Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be Baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins (Acts 2:38). And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptised, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord (Acts 22:16). He who believes and is baptised will be saved, but who does not believe will be condemned. “(Mark 116:16). For as many of you as were baptised into Christ have on Christ. (Gal3:27).

BAPTISM IS A BURIAL IN WATER

There we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the death by the glory of the Father even so we should walk in newness of life" (Rom 6-4) Now as they went the road, they came to some water, And the Eunuch said, See here is water. What hinders me from been Baptised? Then Phillip said if you believe with all you heart, you may. And he answered and said, I will believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the Eunuch went down into the water and be Baptised him" (Acts 8:36-38).
